My background includes corporate communication, press and agency experience. Throughout my career I have been recognised for excellence, including being named in PR Week’s Top 29 under 29 in 2009, scooping various industry awards and being cited as one of the top dozen people all Internal Communicators should follow on Twitter.
I have worked in-house as part of the corporate communication teams at Visa, Tube Lines and Visteon. I also have agency account management experience through CG Business Communications (now Sequel Group); project managing and editing internal magazines, ezines and publications for BskyB, L’Oréal and GlaxoSmithKline.
In 2009 I finished a post-graduate diploma in Internal Communication Management and have written a dissertation on social media and its impact on internal communication. I’m very interested in social media/Web 2.0 and the benefits that can be gained through these exciting technologies to help aid communication in businesses.
